Which is the best way to book?

We recommend that you book your stay directly with The Wentworth rather than an online booking agency, so that we can advise on the best room for your needs.

Booking directly ensures that:

you get the best available rate (without paying booking agency commissions).
we can allocate the room you require for the duration of your stay (no moving room half-way through your stay!).
you know on which floor your room is situated. The Wentworth does not have a lift, which is important to note if you have mobility issues.
you get a room with the bathroom configuration you require. Some rooms have baths only, some have showers over baths, some have walk-in showers.

Unfortunately, online booking agencies are not familiar with our individual room types, so are not able to offer help and advice on the above when booking.

We want you to have the best possible stay at The Wentworth. By booking directly we can provide you with a room that suits your needs at the best price available.

What time can we check in and check out?

Official check in time is from 3.00pm. However in many instances rooms are ready before that time and even if the room is not ready for you we can store your luggage whilst you get on with your holiday. 11.00 am is the official check out time.

Do you have a car park?

We have a car park which can accommodate 30 cars. In addition there is limited parking in Wentworth Road. We regret we cannot reserve car parking spaces.

Does the hotel have Wi-Fi?

Yes it does, but please bear with us as we cannot always guarantee the speed & efficiency of the signal in certain areas of the hotel.

If being connected is very important to you, we recommend that you register with The Cloud before you arrive at the hotel. This will also allow you access to the Internet at any other establishments signed up to The Cloud. For more information go to their website - www.thecloud.net

Can we bring our dog on holiday with us?

Yes you can! Well behaved dogs are very welcome in the hotel, but we do ask that in consideration of other guests, dogs are kept off the furniture.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT ALLOW DOGS IN THE RESTAURANT AT ANY TIME (with the exception of guide dogs).

We also cannot set up tables for breakfast or dinner in the lounges so that dogs can eat with their owners.

Please mention that you are bringing a dog when booking and note that we charge £5.00 per dog per night.
